Seriously, fly a sniper over to kill some of the eggs before the wall comes down, and if you can, fly defences as far forward of the shield wall as you can (especially snipers) so they kill the eggs further away from your base. I'm enjoying the game a lot but this level just makes me angry now. I know it's not impossible, but man, it feels like an incredible jump in difficulty compared to all the levels before it. They go over the walls and pyramids and just wash over everything I have. It succeeds initially, but the waves of creeper that come after are just too big. My last attempt had me just barely hold back the spores/skimmers long enough to build up enough snipers and a handful of mortars to hold off the egg rush. Wallis I've retried about 25 times now, and I'm getting a little farther each time but not far enough.

I'm no pro in CW4 but I've managed to beat every mission before Wallis with at most only 1-2 restarts per map, some with zero restarts.
Takes a few retries, but not enough to get me super frustrated.
I had trouble with Farbor in CW3 but with perseverance I manage to get past it. I'm honestly just on the fence about either trying again later with a cooler head or finding a way to edit my save file to skip past it.
